Java Errors
Issue with application not starting.
After the initial sign-on screen, it can take several minutes when the browser screen is blank. Recycle and refresh the blank browser screen several times by clicking on the refresh arrow on the right. Must be using the new URL for Java 8, not the old Java 6 link.
Java 8 64-bit is installed, not Java 8 32-bit.
When the Control Panel window opens click on the program and features, under the Programs category select and uninstall Java 8 64-bit. Next download and install Java 8 32-bit. Java 32-bit usually has i586 in its download name.
Use EDGE browser rather than IE or Firefox browser.
The Edge browser causes a blank screen. Look for the Star, pen, the ...(ellipsis) button on the far-right side of the program window if you see them. It is the Edge browser. Must use IE or Firefox browser.
Conflict with URL and Java version
A blank screen appears when you see a yellow exclamation sign at the end of the browser window. This Exclamation can mean several things. One common error is that Java and URL are incompatible. Make sure Java installed, browsers, and URL are all installed correctly and correct version. Recheck all the recent changes to the computer.
Install JInitiator
Do not install JInitiator! This error usually means something is wrong with version of Java installed and URL.
Verfiy your browser compliance, Java and URL are the correct versions.
Jinitiator Verison too low, FRM-92095
If you the FRM-92095 "too low" error message shown in the image below and you followed the setup instructions and Java 8 is installed on your computer. There is probability a Java install remnants are left behind on your computer usually from an Oracle product install. Remove Oracle product if possible. See Verifying and Enabling Java on workstation. When you change operating system functions, it is always best to perform a cold reboot...Starting a computer from shutdown to clean out clearing temporary files and problems. If all that doesnot resolve the issue, set the OS environment variable instructions below.
If the FRM-92095 "too low" error message persists add an OS environment variable.
Take these steps as the last resort
Windows 7
1. Open Advanced system settings
Start Menu › Control Panel › System and Security › System
2. Click Environment Variables.
3. Add a System variables
4. In the Edit System Variable (or New System Variable) window.
5. Add a System variables
Variable name: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS
Variable value: -Djava.vendor="Sun Microsystems Inc."
6. Cold reboot your computer
Windows 10
1. In Search, search for and then select: System (Control Panel)
2. Click the Advanced system settings link.
3. Click Environment Variables
4. In the Edit System Variable (or New System Variable) window.
5. Add a System variables
Variable name: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS
Variable value: -Djava.vendor="Sun Microsystems Inc."
6. Cold reboot your computer
Web Client version too new, FRM-92150
If you roll back to Java 6.45 install after Java 8 was installed, this FRM-92150 error can appear.
Need to clear your Java cache in Windows, by perform the following steps:
1. Locate the Java configuration icon and open it (via Control Panel is one way)
2. Click Settings… under the Temporary Internet Files on the General tab.
3. Click Delete Files
4. The Delete Temporary Files window appear – be sure and select all choices
5. Click OK
6. Click OK
Java Options
If this Java 1.7* prompt appears as depicted in image below. select run with the latest version.
